To be a successful wordsmith, one must have experience and a touch of natural ability. It is possible to learn and gain experience, but those who are blessed with the natural ability from the beginning are those who become the best.
Béverly Bashor grew up in France, the United States, and Germany. She learned French and English simultaneously, not remembering which she knew first. Once she decided to live in the United States, she used her hard earned experience in both a variety of cultural settings and educational philosophies to propel her into ever-increasing roles of responsibility. Her natural affinity for language, nuance, and a
determined sense of organization and work ethic made for a recipe of success.
Throughout each experience, Béverly held to her true passion for language and used her skills as a writer, editor, and translator. While pursuing her Business Management degree, Béverly received acknowledgment from the English Department for her essays. She also worked for the Language & Linguistics Department and was the French Professor’s Assistant. Béverly has since worked in the legal fields of bankruptcy, worker's compensation, business litigation, and environmental and natural resources. During that time, she had the privilege to proofread novels, articles, and law review pieces for an Attorney/Author. Currently working in the engineering industry, Béverly has managed a document management task force, authored work procedures, and translated
